The Case of the Disappearing Marshmallow’s Part 1

Part 1

There once was a frog named Peter. Peter was a kind frog who lived to show kindness to people in the grocery stores. One day he was at grocery store buying the items to make smores. He was able to find the chocolate and graham crackers easily, but he couldn’t find the marshmallow’s anywhere. After looking for what seemed like an eternity, he finally asked the first employee he saw,

“Where are the marshmallows?”

“Marshmallow’s the employee repeated, what are those?”

Peter couldn’t believe his ears. Could it be that this guy didn’t know what marshmallows are? The employee asked someone else;

“Do we have marshmallows?”

Their reply was much the same. “Marshmallows, what are those?”

Now Peter was really scared. The more they asked around, the more they got the reply, “marshmallows, what are those?” could it be that marshmallows no longer exist?

At this point Peter didn’t know what to do. He knew he just couldn’t stand the thought of smores without marshmallows. That would be like eating a peanut butter and jelly sandwich without the peanut butter. Like a lightening bolt a thought shot in his mind;

“My friend Gilbert loves marshmallow’s more than I do. I’ll give him a call.  If he says he doesn’t know what marshmallow’s are, then I know something fishy is going on.”

Peter pulled his froggy phone out of his froggy pocket and began to press the froggy numbers. With each button he pushed, his phone made a croaking sound. Ribet 5, ribet 2, ribet 6, and so on.
